The 2026-10-15 lesson is now at three sightings and, being three days old, is promotion-eligible into docs/code-standards.md; that promotion stays with the maintainer. Docs-only change to LESSONS.md at the repo root: no owned file under docs/subsystems/ changed, so no subsystem-doc update and no changelog fragment (not user-visible).
