sqflite_watchos before 0.1.0: SQL off the UI isolate, and a physical-watch run #20

Open

Description

@MAUstaoglu

Follow-ups from the second review of #5:

  • Before 0.1.0: run SQL off the UI isolate, and test on a physical watch.
  • README, meanwhile: note that the 2 s busy wait blocks the calling isolate. Between two connections on one isolate, it can only end in SQLITE_BUSY.
  • The busy test's comment: it blames Ubuntu's SQLite for the 39 ms. More likely, flutter test's Dart profiler sends SIGPROF on Linux and cuts SQLite's sleeps short. The watch is unaffected.

    One more item before 0.1.0: the example (AUTHORING.md §3 asks for upstream's own example, unchanged).

    sqflite_darwin's example is a six-line main.dart around sqflite_example_common, which is not on pub.dev. So the porter could not take it from pub, and the package ships a watch demo instead.

    • Try upstream's example with sqflite_example_common as a git dependency, pinned to the tekartik/sqflite tag of the sqflite version we test against.
    • If it cannot launch on the watch, keep the demo and say why in the report.

    The official integration test is already upstream's.
