The weekly upstream check failed on one row after the 2026-10-24 publishes (run 40106378500):

FAIL sqflite_watchos
pub.dev has no version of sqflite_watchos.

sqflite_watchos is staged at 0.0.1 (AUTHORING §4), so it is not on pub.dev yet. All 20 published packages passed.

Change

  • A package without a row in tool/published.yaml is resolved from this repository only. Its report gets a note instead of a failure.
  • A package with a row that pub.dev does not know still fails.
  • bin/upstream_compat.dart reads tool/published.yaml, or a file passed with --published.

Tests

  • New fixture unpublished_package. Its resolve.yaml fails the pub.dev variant, so the fixture also proves that variant is never resolved.
  • package_not_on_pub_dev now has a published.yaml row and still fails.
  • New test: an unpublished package's report does not claim a version on pub.dev.
  • With the old behaviour, both new tests fail. With the change, all 154 tool tests pass, and dart analyze --fatal-infos, the word check, the test-name check and the version check are clean.

I will dispatch upstream.yml on this branch to check the sqflite row against the real pub.dev before merging.

sqflite_watchos is staged at 0.0.1 and not on pub.dev, so the weekly
upstream check failed on it: "pub.dev has no version of sqflite_watchos."
(run 40106378500, the only red row). A package without a row in
tool/published.yaml now resolves from this repository only, with a note.
A package with a row that pub.dev does not know still fails.

bin/upstream_compat.dart reads tool/published.yaml, or --published.
