Snowflake blocks single-factor password sign-in, so the Snowflake example shows only key-pair auth, with the optional passphrase. Docs only, the SDK still accepts BasicCredentials. Same change for the Cloud docs: gooddata/gdc-cloud-docs#1840.

risk: nonprod
JIRA: DP-3720

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated the Snowflake example to document key-pair authentication instead of basic username-and-password authentication.
    • The example also documents an optional private-key passphrase, read from SNOWFLAKE_PRIVATE_KEY_PASSPHRASE.

📝 Walkthrough

The Snowflake documentation removes the basic username-and-password example. The key-pair example now reads an optional private-key passphrase from SNOWFLAKE_PRIVATE_KEY_PASSPHRASE.
