Changes before tagging the next release:

• Settings > Pages > Source: set it to "GitHub Actions" instead of the gh-pages branch.
• Settings > Environments > github-pages > Deployment branches and tags: by default this only allows the default branch, and this workflow deploys from tags, so it will be rejected. Add a tag rule v* to match our tags. We can probably remove master from the rule since we only deploy from tags.
• Check that ghbtns.com is still set under Settings > Pages. With Actions deployments the CNAME file in the artifact is ignored, hence why I deleted the file.
• after the first deploy works, delete the PERSONAL_TOKEN secret and revoke the PAT. I will remove the gh-pages branch after some time and assuming everything is fine.

Alternatively, you can add me as admin to the repo and I can make the changes.
