What changed in this PR
Prepares the C/C++ extension’s 1.35.6 release metadata and consolidates its pre-release changelog entries.
Changes:
- Updates the extension version to
1.35.6-main. - Combines 1.35.0–1.35.5 notes into a single 1.35.6 entry, removing duplicate and pre-release-only items.
- Preserves the existing 1.34.4 and earlier release notes.
