Codex corrected the two inline control statements flagged by CI in the Markdown excerpt renderer. The change only expands them into standard multi-line blocks; rendering behavior is unchanged. Codex reran the nine formatter tests successfully (20 assertions), and the updated commit is awaiting CI. Investigated and written by Codex on behalf of William Jacoby (bonelifer). |

Add a category permission and form for transferring a submitted article to an active member or configured KB team. Transfers are audited, preserve submitted revisions and remaining co-authors, and block articles with private drafts or private draft edits.
Show draft/revision indicators and colored queue statuses, keep article metadata directly below the title, contain long URLs on mobile, render Markdown search excerpts, and update submission headings. Refresh all 16 gallery screenshots and add the three dated update-post images under docs/update/2026-10-18/.
Codex verified 503 tests and 1,432 assertions per phpBB branch with no skips, plus browser checks on phpBB 3.3.19 and 4.0.0-a3-dev. The phpBB 4.0 database suite used separately prepared core schema-tool fixes, which this PR does not include. The candidate ZIP also passed a fresh phpBB 3.3.19 install and 21 browser checks. Composer validation passed with its existing version-field advisory; system Composer emitted PHP deprecation notices.
This PR does not publish the prepared rolling release or forum announcements.
