ENG-5386: Basic Auth Plugin Blocks WP Admin Button Login - #10
loukie-pressable merged 13 commits into
Conversation
…Auth The WP Admin button sends the user to wp-login.php?mpcp_token=..., which OnePress validates on plugins_loaded priority 10 -- after Basic Auth has already challenged on priority 1 and exited. These checks pin the waiver to a token OnePress would accept, and fail closed on every other shape. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
The MyPressable WP Admin button redirects to wp-login.php?mpcp_token=..., which Pressable OnePress Login validates on plugins_loaded priority 10. Basic Auth challenges on priority 1 and exits, so the token was never seen and the button always ended in a credential prompt. should_skip_auth() now waives the challenge only for a wp-login.php request whose token OnePress will accept: stored token present and unexpired, same user agent, matching secret, and OnePress loaded. The check is read-only, so OnePress still consumes the token and a replayed URL is challenged. Superglobals are read raw because wp_magic_quotes() has not run yet at plugins_loaded. Ships as 1.0.6. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ness Covers the Codex pre-PR findings: an overlong token, a non-string user agent, WordPress installing (when OnePress registers no handler), and a token in its final second, which OnePress still accepts. Any PHP warning or notice now fails the run, so a coerced input cannot pass by failing closed by coincidence. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…uard From the Codex pre-PR review: - Cap mpcp_token at 256 characters before decoding or splitting it; a genuine token is about 160. - Refuse a non-string user agent instead of casting it, which turned an array into the literal "Array" (with a warning) and could not match what OnePress hashes. - Refuse while wp_installing(), when OnePress registers no login handler and nothing would consume the token. Its cron, AJAX and WP-CLI arms are already covered by skip_request(). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
OnePress's readiness guard reads the filterable wp_doing_ajax() and wp_doing_cron(), not the DOING_* constants skip_request() checks, so a filter can stand OnePress down while the waiver still admits the request. Covers both filters and WP-CLI. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
The waiver repeated only wp_installing(), relying on skip_request() for cron, AJAX and WP-CLI. skip_request() reads the DOING_* constants, but OnePress reads the filterable wp_doing_ajax() and wp_doing_cron(), so a filter could stand OnePress down while the waiver still admitted the request. Repeat the whole guard and correct the comment that claimed skip_request() covered it. Raised by the cold review of the Codex fixes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
From the Codex confirmation pass: README's exception list named only AJAX, cron and CLI, omitting XML-RPC, the excluded REST namespaces and now the OnePress one-click waiver; readme.txt's feature list did not mention the waiver; and the test file's header still claimed it asserts hook wiring rather than request behaviour, though it exercises both. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…e's scope notes README omitted the logged-in-user waiver and implied the REST namespaces are waived however spelled (only /wp-json/ paths are). The test header omitted the source-text checks and the logout guard, and skips_auth_for() still cited parse_url(). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

The fixture token's site id segment was a real customer's site id. The value is never asserted on; a 7-digit placeholder keeps every payload's length, and so the base64 padding cases, unchanged. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Codex Pre-PR ReviewVerdict: GOOD (after adjudicated fixes — initial verdict NEEDS CHANGE, 2 rounds) The mpcp review rules and checklist live in the mpcp repo, so Codex read them by absolute path while running inside this checkout. Local paths in the verbatim trail are shortened to Round 11. Original findings (initial pass: NEEDS CHANGE)
2. Cold review of the fixes (fresh subagent, range

Runs: 1 (8de497c..8cb2edb). The subagent made no commits; I committed the item-4 fix. Marker: none. /code-review --cold writes its marker for mpcp checkouts, so I ran the same checklist pass through a fresh subagent directly.
3. Confirmation: NEEDS CHANGE
All four original findings and cold-review item 4 confirmed closed; the $_GET-only Reject left standing. Two new doc findings opened round 2: the test file header still claimed it asserts hook wiring "rather than request behaviour" (tests:12), and README's exception list named only AJAX/CRON/CLI (README:14).

Runs: 1 (290c601..5bb08fb). I re-checked a–c against the code and ran the suite on php:8.1-cli and php:8.4-cli: All checks passed. Marker: none (same reason as round 1).
3. Confirmation: GOOD
Every Accepted finding from both rounds confirmed closed, including cold-review a–c; no new findings in the fix.
After the gate
f5e4858 landed after the GOOD confirmation. It replaces the example site id in the test-token fixture with a neutral 1000001, a test-data change only: the plugin never reads that segment, and the payload length, which the padding cases depend on, is unchanged. It was cold-reviewed on its own (19fa769..f5e4858): 0 Accept, 1 Reject, 0 Escalate, marker written. The Reject: the old value survives in commit c6186d9's history. That isn't worth a history rewrite, and a squash merge leaves it out of main. Codex did not grade this commit.

Findings:
1. `pressable-basic-authentication.php:314-320` — Checklist §1 Inputs / §6 Security and SOC 2
Severity: blocker
Failure scenario: an unauthenticated request supplies a very large `mpcp_token`; the code copies/normalizes it, base64-decodes it, explodes it, regex-matches it, and may query user meta before Basic Auth runs. There is no explicit length bound before those operations. Add a maximum encoded-token length check.
2. `pressable-basic-authentication.php:347` — Checklist §1 Inputs / §2 Callees
Severity: real bug
Failure scenario: `HTTP_USER_AGENT` is an array. The cast converts it to `"Array"` (and may emit a warning), so a token minted for the literal UA `"Array"` can pass this waiver. OnePress then calls `md5($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'])` with the array and fails instead of logging in. Reject non-string user-agent values rather than coercing them. OnePress’s callee is at `class-pressable-onepress-login-plugin.php:77-91`.
3. `pressable-basic-authentication.php:304-305` — Checklist §2 Callees / §5 Doc and comment claims
Severity: real bug
Failure scenario: during WordPress installation, `Pressable_OnePress_Login_Plugin` is loaded, but its constructor does not register the login handler because `is_ready_to_handle_mpcp_login_request()` rejects `wp_installing()` (`class-pressable-onepress-login-plugin.php:165-176`). The new class-presence check still waives Basic Auth, exposing `wp-login.php` without a consumer for the token. The claim that this admits only requests OnePress will consume is therefore too strong; mirror the readiness guard or verify the handler is actually registered.
4. `tests/hook-registration-test.php:420-428` — Checklist §9 Tests
Severity: tests
Failure scenario: the tests still pass if the expiry comparison changes from `<` to `<=`, because only `time() - 1` is covered; they also do not cover an array-valued user agent, an overlong token, or the `wp_installing()` mismatch. These are concrete incomplete implementations that pass the current suite. Commit order is correct: test commit `c6186d9` precedes implementation commit `8de497c`.
Blast-radius and checklist notes:
- `should_skip_auth()` has two actual consumers through `skip_request()`: `init()` and `handle_logout_request()`. The new private method has one production caller at line 272. I found no other dynamic consumers via repository-wide grep.
- `get_user_meta()` returns empty/false for missing or invalid IDs and mixed stored values; the existing array/string/numeric guards fail closed. [WordPress reference](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_user_meta/)
- The MPCP writer’s existing payload and meta format matches the new reader; no legacy-data migration issue was found.
- No views, JS, jobs, caches, Rails queries, CSV output, or sibling API entry points apply to this PHP plugin. Rails-specific account-context, collaborator, Solid Queue, template, and WP Cloud rules are not applicable here.
- The read-only token check correctly leaves deletion to OnePress, and the grep showed no new deletion path. `git diff --check` passed. Local PHP execution was unavailable because `php` is not installed in this environment; the supplied PHP 8.1/8.4 results were not independently rerun.
Round 1 — cold review of the fixes
Cold review of 8de497c..HEAD (8cb2edb, d8af4f2). I made no commits because nothing needed fixing.
1. pressable-basic-authentication.php:317-319, token length cap (Inputs; Comments). A typical token, 7-<64hex>-1000001-<32hex>, is 107 bytes, which encodes to 143 characters. The worst case is a 20-digit user id plus a 10-digit site id: 129 bytes, 172 characters. So the 256 cap never rejects a genuine token, and it does bound the base64 decode and the explode on a 300+ character input. The comment's "about 120 bytes / about 160 characters" is approximate but true. No change needed.
2. :352-354, HTTP_USER_AGENT (Inputs, fail-closed). A missing or non-string user agent now returns false. Fails closed. No change needed.
3. :307, wp_installing() (Correctness). Defined in wp-includes/load.php, which wp-settings.php loads before plugins are included, so it exists when plugins_loaded fires. Reasoned from load order; no WordPress source here to check. Matches line 167 of OnePress's is_ready_to_handle_mpcp_login_request(). No change needed.
4. :293-297, comment says skip_request() already lets cron, AJAX and WP-CLI through. skip_request() only checks the DOING_AJAX/DOING_CRON constants, but OnePress calls wp_doing_ajax()/wp_doing_cron(), which a filter can change. A must-use plugin filtering wp_doing_ajax to true without the constant would stand OnePress down while the waiver still passes, showing the password form without Basic Auth. Needs a valid single-use token plus an unusual filter. No change needed (low risk); escalate only if mirroring is wanted.
5. tests set_error_handler (Test quality). Collects warnings and notices without masking anything; exceptions and fatals still propagate. No change needed.
6. tests exp == time() boundary test (Flakiness). Not flaky: it waits until the current second is less than half over. No change needed.
7. tests new negative cases each isolate exactly one guard. No change needed.
Outside the range, not changed: OnePress reads $_REQUEST (GET or POST) while the waiver reads only $_GET.
Tests: passes on php:8.1-cli and php:8.4-cli ("All checks passed"), including "no check raised a PHP warning or notice".

Confirmation:
- Original finding 1 remains closed: the 256-byte token bound precedes decoding and splitting at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:324`; the overlong-token test is at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:468`.
- Original finding 2 remains closed: `HTTP_USER_AGENT` is no longer coerced; non-string values fail closed at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:357-360`, covered at test line 470.
- Original finding 3 remains closed: the inactive OnePress class and `wp_installing()` cases are guarded at lines 308-314, covered at lines 425 and 472.
- Original finding 4 remains closed: expiry remains `<`, and tests cover expiry equality, array UA, overlong input, and installing. No later change regressed them.
- Cold-review finding 4 remains closed: the complete readiness guard is present at lines 312-314, with filtered AJAX/cron and WP-CLI tests at lines 475-476 and 537. WordPress documents both `wp_doing_ajax()` and `wp_doing_cron()` as filterable wrappers around their constants ([AJAX](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_doing_ajax/), [cron](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_doing_cron/)); `wp_installing()` is also the correct core state check ([docs](https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_installing/)).
The rejected POST-only observation remains intentionally rejected: the waiver reads `$_GET`, matching MPCP’s GET redirect and failing closed for POST-only tokens.
Checklist review found no production security, input, ordering, caller/callee, or sibling-pattern defect. The production caller chain (`init()`/`handle_logout_request()` → `skip_request()` → `should_skip_auth()`) remains correct, and an `rg` plus dynamic-dispatch search found no duplicate production waiver. Rails-specific account-context, caching, collaborator, Solid Queue, template, and WP Cloud rules have no applicable changed path.
New findings:
tests/hook-registration-test.php:12 — 5. Doc and comment claims
Severity: docs
Failure scenario: The test now exercises token parsing, readiness guards, expiry, and request behavior, but its header says it tests hook wiring “rather than request behaviour,” misleading maintainers about the coverage.
Evidence: `tests/hook-registration-test.php:364-489`.
README.md:14 — 5. Doc and comment claims / 10. Repo rules
Severity: docs
Failure scenario: The documented exception list says Basic Auth is bypassed only for AJAX, CRON, and CLI, while a valid OnePress login token now creates another unauthenticated exception. Security/support readers receive an incomplete access-control model.
Evidence: `README.md:14` versus `pressable-basic-authentication.php:272-363`.
`git diff --check` passes. PHP tests could not be run locally because PHP is unavailable in this environment.
Round 2 — cold review of the fixes
Cold review of 5bb08fb. Three claims were wrong or incomplete; all fixed in 19fa769 (explicit paths, not pushed). Could not run the tests (no host php); the fix changes docblocks only.
1. README.md:14 (Fixed in 19fa769). The list read as the complete set of exceptions but omitted the logged-in-user waiver: force_basic_authentication() returns early at :125 when is_user_logged_in() is true. It also implied the REST namespaces are waived however spelled; only /wp-json/ paths are matched (:195-258). A ?rest_route=/wp/v2 request is still challenged because REST_REQUEST (:268) is defined at parse_request, long after plugins_loaded priority 1. Added "any request from a user already logged in to WordPress" and "requested under /wp-json/". XMLRPC_REQUEST is covered by "XML-RPC". The super-admin line (README:19) is accurate.
2. tests/hook-registration-test.php header (Fixed in 19fa769). Said hook wiring is read only from recorded registrations; several checks read the methods' source (:153-195). It also omitted the logout-guard placement checks.
3. tests/hook-registration-test.php:202 (Fixed in 19fa769, outside the diff but in a touched file). skips_auth_for() docblock said should_skip_auth() touches only basename() and parse_url(); the plugin no longer calls parse_url(), and the method now reaches the OnePress check. Already stale on main.
4. readme.txt:20 (No change needed). Matches is_valid_onepress_login_request().

<scratchpad>/mpcp_update_mpcp_auth_token.rb
Findings:
- Original finding 1 remains closed: the 256-character token bound is present at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:324`; the overlong-token test remains at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:471`.
- Original finding 2 remains closed: non-string user agents are rejected at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:357-360`; coverage remains at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:473`.
- Original finding 3 remains closed: the full OnePress readiness guard is present at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:312-314`, with corresponding tests at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:474-479`.
- Original finding 4 remains closed: expiration-boundary, array-UA, overlong-token, and readiness cases remain behaviorally exercised in `tests/hook-registration-test.php:452-492`.
- Round-1 cold finding 4 remains closed: the plugin uses filterable `wp_doing_ajax()`/`wp_doing_cron()` at `pressable-basic-authentication.php:312`, with tests at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:478-479`.
- Round-2 finding 5 is closed: the test header now accurately describes both recorded hook/source checks and private-method request handling at `tests/hook-registration-test.php:2-15`; the helper docblock accurately describes PHP built-ins and WordPress stand-ins at lines 200-204.
- Round-2 finding 6 is closed: `README.md:14` now documents every current authentication waiver, including the logged-in-user waiver and the `/wp-json/` path limitation. `readme.txt:20` accurately documents the OnePress feature; its changelog provides the fuller validity conditions.
- Cold-review findings a, b, and c are therefore closed. The readme.txt item required no change and remains accurate.
Fix-diff checklist:
1. Inputs — no runtime inputs changed; documentation claims match the plugin’s URI, script, token, metadata, UA, and readiness handling.
2. Callees — no calls changed. The callers/callees were traced through `init()`, `skip_request()`, `should_skip_auth()`, and `is_valid_onepress_login_request()`.
3. Sibling entry points — no guarded side effect changed. Repository search found no sibling runtime implementation.
4. Same bug elsewhere — searched all occurrences with `rg`; only the plugin implementation and its test helpers contain this waiver pattern.
5. Documentation claims — all changed claims are supported by `pressable-basic-authentication.php:103-106`, `:124-127`, `:207-209`, `:247-274`, and `:307-364`.
6. Security — the fix is documentation-only; it does not broaden the waiver. The implementation remains GET-only and fail-closed.
7. Ordering/concurrency — no ordering or write behavior changed.
8. Views/JS — not applicable.
9. Tests — the changed test hunk is prose-only; existing behavioral assertions still exercise the private methods and would fail on the corresponding implementation regressions.
10. Repo rules — no applicable rule is violated. Rails-specific rules are not applicable to this WordPress plugin. Blast radius was checked with enumerated `rg` searches plus inspection of hook/reflection dispatch; CodeGraph was unavailable.
No new findings in the fix.
Verification: `git diff --check` passed. The PHP test could not run because PHP is unavailable in the environment, and the Docker daemon was inaccessible.

This is the right fix in the right plugin. The waiver fails closed at every step. The user id must be all digits. The meta shape is checked before use. Both comparisons use hash_equals with the stored value first, so type juggling and magic hashes don't get through. It is read-only, so OnePress still consumes the token. I checked it against both MyPressable producers (UpdateMpcpAuthToken and the without-account variant): decimal ids, a 64-char hex secret and a hex UA digest encode to well under 256 characters. None of them uses + or /, so the strict URL-safe decode accepts every issued token. I found no way to get past it without the secret.
Two comments inline. One is a hardening point about where the token is read from. The other is about wording in the docs that overstates the guarantees.
Not checked: I did not run the PHP tests or reproduce over HTTP, and I don't know what request_order WP Cloud's PHP is configured with, which the first comment depends on.

The waiver validates $_GET['mpcp_token'], but OnePress decides whether to handle the request from $_REQUEST (non-blocking). In pressable-onepress-login, is_ready_to_handle_mpcp_login_request() registers the handler only when isset( $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] ) (class-pressable-onepress-login-plugin.php:172), and handle_server_login_request() reads $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] (line 25). At plugins_loaded, $_REQUEST is still PHP's own, built from request_order. WordPress only rebuilds it as $_GET + $_POST in wp_magic_quotes(), after plugins_loaded.
- With the stock
request_order = "GP"I see no hole. A valid query token puts the value in$_REQUEST, so OnePress registers. Every one of its branches, success and all four failures, ends inwp_safe_redirect+exit, so nothing else onwp-login.phpruns. A POSTmpcp_tokenoverriding the query one only makes OnePress validate the wrong value and burn the sender's own token. - With a
request_orderthat leaves out G, OnePress never registers. A request likePOST /wp-login.php?mpcp_token=<valid>withaction=lostpasswordthen passes the waiver and runs WordPress's normal login actions with no Basic Auth challenge. It still needs a valid, unexpired token and a matching UA, so this is not a bypass for an outsider. But it breaks the property the docblock above states: "nothing else reaches wp-login.php unchallenged."
A cheap way to make the two agree whatever the PHP config:
$encoded = $_GET['mpcp_token'] ?? null;
// OnePress reads (and registers on) $_REQUEST; only waive when it will see this same token.
if ( ! isset( $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] ) || $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] !== $encoded ) {
return false;
}The test stubs OnePress with an empty class and never sets $_REQUEST, so a case with $_GET set and $_REQUEST unset (or different) would pin it. Is this worth adding, or do you know WP Cloud pins request_order to GP? If so, reply with that and I'll take it as answered.

Fixed — added your guard. I don't know what request_order WP Cloud's PHP uses, so I didn't want to depend on it.
d731272: tests first, one with the token absent from$_REQUESTand one with a different$_REQUESTtoken. Both failed against the previous head.ac519a7:pressable-basic-authentication.php:335now returns false unless($_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] ?? null) === $encoded. The docblock explains why: OnePress registers on and reads$_REQUEST, which atplugins_loadedis still PHP's own, built fromrequest_order.
Both suites are green on PHP 8.1 and 8.4. Deleting the new check fails both new cases.

Verified at 3955e10: line 335 rejects unless $_REQUEST holds the same string as the validated query token. Because the is_string check on line 331 runs first, a missing, array-valued or different $_REQUEST value can no longer get the waiver, whatever request_order is. Both new cases pin it. Resolved.

A few of the new security claims say more than the code does (nit).
readme.txt:52, "issued to the same browser": the binding ismd5( User-Agent ), so any client sending the same UA string with the token passes. "from a browser with the same User-Agent" matches the ticket.readme.txt:54, "Any other request to wp-login.php is still challenged": a visitor with a WordPress session is already let through earlier ininit()(is_user_logged_in()), along with the other existing exemptions. "is still challenged unless an existing exemption applies" would be accurate.pressable-basic-authentication.php:288, "admits exactly the requests OnePress will then log in": it is deliberately narrower (GET only, exactly four parts), and see the$_REQUESTcomment for the other direction.pressable-basic-authentication.php:328, "strict mode rejects anything else": strictbase64_decodealso accepts correctly padded input and skips whitespace, so it is not unpadded-only. Harmless, but the comment claims a format check the code doesn't make.
Can you reword these, or reply if you read any of them differently?

Fixed all four in ac519a7:
readme.txt: "presented with the same User-Agent it was issued to", and other wp-login.php requests are "still challenged unless an existing exemption applies, such as an existing WordPress session".- Docblock: it no longer says "exactly". It now says the waiver is deliberately narrower than OnePress (query-string token, exactly four parts) and admits only requests OnePress will then log in. The new
$_REQUESTparagraph covers the other direction. - Base64 comment: it now says the code maps to the standard alphabet and that strict mode rejects characters outside it, but still accepts padding and skips whitespace. No format claim.

Verified at 3955e10: the readme, the "narrower than OnePress" docblock and the base64 comment now match the code. Resolved. One sentence in the new $_REQUEST paragraph needs a small correction, comment below.
OnePress registers its handler on, and reads, $_REQUEST, which at plugins_loaded is PHP's own, built from request_order. With an order that leaves out G, OnePress never sees a query-string token, so a waiver keyed on $_GET alone would let wp-login.php through with nothing to consume the token. Raised by Rogelio in review. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
…verstated claims From Rogelio's review: - Require $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] to be the query-string token. OnePress registers on and reads $_REQUEST, built from request_order at plugins_loaded; without the check, a request_order that leaves out G (or a body value overriding the query one) let wp-login.php through with OnePress never handling the request. - The docblock no longer claims the waiver admits "exactly" what OnePress logs in (it is deliberately narrower), and the strict-base64 comment no longer claims a format check the code does not make. - readme.txt: the binding is the User-Agent, not the browser, and other wp-login.php requests are challenged unless an existing exemption applies. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
The hook test calls should_skip_auth() directly, because under the CLI SAPI is_cli_request() waives every request; nothing exercised the path plugins_loaded -> init() -> skip_request() -> challenge. This serves a router from PHP's built-in web server (the cli-server SAPI), fires plugins_loaded with a OnePress stand-in, and asserts a valid token reaches OnePress unchallenged while no-token, wrong-UA and non-login requests get the 401. It fails against the released 1.0.5. Raised by CodeRabbit. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

@coderabbitai Re the nitpick on
It fails against the released 1.0.5 and with the waiver call disabled. Both workflows now run it, and the reflection tests stay as they were. |

Round 1 verified at 3955e10: both findings are fixed and nothing in the range regressed. /tests is export-ignored and the router exits outside cli-server, so the new fixture can't ship. One wording nit in the new docblock paragraph, inline.

The new paragraph misdescribes the body-override case (nit). "...or a body value overriding the query one) would let wp-login.php through with OnePress never handling it." With the stock request_order = "GP", a different POST mpcp_token still puts a value in $_REQUEST, so OnePress registers (isset( $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'] ), class-pressable-onepress-login-plugin.php:172). It then validates and consumes that body token ($base64_token = $_REQUEST['mpcp_token'];, line 25) and exits either way. The risk without your guard is that OnePress handles a different token from the one the waiver checked, not that it ignores the request. The guard is right for both cases, only the sentence is off. Something like:
* one `$_REQUEST` holds. Otherwise a `request_order` without G would let wp-login.php
* through with OnePress never handling it, and a body value overriding the query one
* would have OnePress consume a token the waiver never checked.Reword it, or reply if you read it differently?

Fixed in 8d286f5 with your wording. The paragraph now separates the two cases:
- a
request_orderwithout G leaves OnePress unregistered; - a body value overriding the query one has OnePress consume a token the waiver never checked.
Comment-only change; both suites are green on PHP 8.1 and 8.4.

With the stock request_order, a different POST mpcp_token still lands in $_REQUEST, so OnePress does handle the request; the risk is that it consumes a token the waiver never checked, not that it ignores the request.
