Why
Patch release for the CVE-2026-111943 fix (#35, compromised eMudhra CA). PyPI takes the version from
pyproject.toml, so it has to be bumped before thev3.0.1tag is pushed. What
version3.0.0 → 3.0.1 inpyproject.tomland therootlyentry inuv.lock. No code change.Release plan
After merge: push an annotated
v3.0.1tag with the message "Security: patch CVE-2026-111943 (compromised eMudhra CA)".publish.ymlthen builds, publishes to PyPI (afterpypienvironment approval) and creates the GitHub release.Risk
risk:low: version string only.Rollback
Revert this PR. If 3.0.1 is already on PyPI, yank it there.
