Summary

Ahrefs project 10306732 reports 34 noncanonical pages in the docs sitemap: 31 legacy Flash reference pages and three Flash tutorials. They already declare SDK pages as their canonical URLs, but seo.indexing: "all" keeps them in the generated sitemap.

Add noindex: true to exactly those 34 pages. This uses Mintlify's native exclusion control and keeps every legacy route accessible with its existing content and SDK canonical target. The diff is 34 added frontmatter lines. Navigation, redirects, robots.txt, docs.json, SDK pages, and page bodies are unchanged.

Mintlify's native control also removes these deprecated pages from site search, AI/MCP context, and llms indexes, and omits their structured data. That indexing effect is intentional for these legacy pages; current SDK documentation remains discoverable. Platform behavior is documented at https://www.mintlify.com/docs/organize/hidden-pages.

Validation

• Mintlify build validation passes.
• Source checks confirm the exact 34-file scope, unchanged canonical values and page bodies, and valid frontmatter across the repository.
• All 34 local legacy routes return HTTP 200 with noindex and their original SDK canonical targets.
• All 34 hosted-preview legacy routes also return HTTP 200 with noindex and their unchanged SDK canonical targets.
• Tooltip import and 302 redirect-source checks pass. Four existing unused-tooltip-import advisories remain in unrelated files.
• git diff --check passes.
• Hosted preview sitemap returns 200 and contains 344 URLs versus 378 in the production baseline. Its URL-path set removes exactly the 34 reported legacy URLs, with no added URLs or other removals. Every one of the 12 SDK canonical targets remains listed.
• All 12 local SDK canonical destinations return HTTP 200 and remain indexable.
• GitHub tooltip CI and Mintlify preview deployment both pass for 6ae33bfb139a762b83bf5f8d2e7f6efc7b69ff64.
