Summary

  • A turn's first tool row read "Running CLI command" (the tool's placeholder) until the whole call arrived, even though the model writes a description on nearly every call
  • A call still awaiting its title with nothing earlier to hold now keeps the turn's "Thinking" wording until its description arrives, instead of flashing the placeholder
  • A CLI call refined mid-stream to a cli_* verb counts as still awaiting its title, so the parsed verb no longer flashes between the placeholder and the model's description
  • The header's one-second label pacing no longer resets when the lane briefly loses its live indicator between a run's calls, so a finished call's past-tense title stops flashing before the next call's description; attention and disclosure changes still update at once
  • Pairs with the worker sending the model's description as soon as it streams (simstudioai/mothership#790); this side works on its own

  • Header tests: the first untitled CLI call reads "Thinking", a streamed description shows immediately, and a refined CLI call holds the earlier title
  • Pacing tests: a finished call's title never shows between two calls within the pacing window, and does show once the run stays idle
  • The new behavior tests fail before this change; the home, mothership tools and request handler suites pass
