GitHub moves the
ubuntu-latestlabel to Ubuntu 26.04 in a rollout from 2026-10-19 to 2026-11-19 (actions/runner-images#14748). A known problem on 26.04 is a RAM-backed/tmpwith a per-user quota (actions/runner-images#14777).This change replaces each
ubuntu-latestwithubuntu-24.04, which is the image that the jobs use today. No other change.The move to 26.04 is a separate change for later.
